Tables Of Ten fundraiser

We are very proud to have been a part of the Tables Of Ten fundraiser on Friday, April 13th at the Shoals Marriott.

This wonderful culinary experience raised money for the 610 Project that works to break the vicious cycle of poverty through education. Their work is designed to empower the Haitian people through education, vocational training, and micro enterprise development to build healthy, self-sustaining communities in Haiti. Florence Foodies Are Raving About YUMM

YUMM WOWS Florence Foodies at June Event
By Dave Reasons at brownbagreview.com

“On a somewhat humid spring evening in June, a group of hungry Florence Foodies took over the sidewalk dining area at YUMM Thai Sushi for an evening of fun, food, and drink. The previous Foodie event held at YUMM was the talk of the town for several weeks, and everyone was raving on how creative and delicious the different courses were. Could Chef Paul stand the heat in the kitchen and come through again? We were anxious to find out.”

Florence Foodies at Yumm August 13th

Florence Foodies will meet at Yumm Thai Sushi and Beyond on August 13th – and tickets for the event sold out within fifteen minutes. Chef Paul has planned a special evening with items that are not currently on the menu, and artist Tommy Mathis will paint live during the evening, and those two events were enough to make the phones ring and tickets go for the event.

“This is a record for Florence Foodies,” said Teryl Shields, Executive Director of Florence Main Street, the organization that created Florence Foodies. “We’ve never had an event sell this quickly, and I think it’s because the people who know Yumm know that this will be special…and those who have never been there have heard so much about it. We think it’s going to be a great evening!”

The next Florence Foodies event is planned for September. Check here for photos from the event in August!
